Interface of Fruit Ninja is now easier to understand than ever before, although most of the new players will continue to try to tap on the menu (it should swipe / slice). Blades and dojo is a new feature but it feels like the power-ups in disguise. In previous versions, when you cut the fruit sword invisible and does not have any effect.
