Late last month, Samsung officially introduced Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. Both Android smartphones aimed at the mid-range market is equipped with a very powerful hardware and the metal body.
From the information circulating, Samsung currently has delayed the availability of two Android phones in some countries due to the emergence of reports of weak signal capture on Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. The report reinforced by the emergence of a proof screenshots uploaded by a Russian website, which compares the signal strength Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. Cases such as actually experienced by Apple when first released the iPhone with aluminum body a few years ago.
The results of these tests show that the Galaxy S5 has a better signal strength reading ie -82 dBm, while the Galaxy A3 is only -92 dBm and -93 dBm A5 only. In the benchmark measure dBm, if the signal is getting closer to the number 0 will get better and stronger at capturing network. But, if the value is above -100 dBm you will not be able to do much with the quality of the signal as it is and if above -130 dBm likely your device will not connect to the network.
Currently, there has been no official information from Samsung about the problem of weak signal on Galaxy Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5. However, we suspect that Samsung is currently working attempt to recover the issue and I hope the second Android phone is immediately available in the Indonesian market before 2015.
