December is the month of the birth of many legendary games. If yesterday we celebrated the anniversary of the series Megaman and Suikoden II, then today is the 27th anniversary of Final Fantasy. To celebrate, the popular Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, conduct interview sessions with Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy that has left the Square many years ago, and Yoshinori Kitase, senior producer of Square Enix.
In the interview, Kitase announced that he is working onMevius Final Fantasy targeted for Android and iOS. Little information is known about this game, but Kitase said that this game will follow the classic Final Fantasy stories for the world to be explored and enjoyed. In addition it was reported that teams are accustomed to working on the main console Final Fantasy series is also involved in the development of this game.
Some of the names mentioned include Kazushige Nojima that helps Kitase in playwriting. Nojima is a person who was involved in making the scenario of Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. There's also a character designer Toshiyuki Itahana. Itahana previously a character designer for Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and also Final Fantasy Explorers.
There is no further information on this game. Nevertheless Kitase said that they are targeting to release Mevius Final Fantasy in spring 2015 in Japan (around March-May).
